The Department of Dermatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks to recruit a candidate for a full-time position in general medical dermatology. The successful candidate will join our Department of Dermatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and provide patient care and education within our residency training program. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest both in practicing and teaching general dermatology as well as non-Mohs surgical dermatology.

Specialty Interests and Responsibilities

  1. Inpatient consultative dermatology
  2. Complex medical dermatology
  3. Dermatology of skin of color

A commitment to resident education is necessary. The expected rank is Assistant Professor or Associate Professor; however, rank and tenure status depend on the candidates qualifications. The qualified candidate should have a strong interest in practicing clinical dermatology and be Board certified or eligible.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range for Assistant Professors is $X (min) to $Y (max). This range reflects base pay and varies based on faculty rank and experience. It does not include all components of the faculty compensation program or variable pay components. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as geographic location, skills, experience, and market conditions.
