Description
MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their Biddeford-based practice, with inpatient duties at Maine Medical Center and outpatient activities centered in our Scarborough ambulatory center.
This position offers:
- Opportunities for leadership roles in education and research for the appropriate applicant.
- Joining a team of over 50 cardiologists providing inpatient, outpatient, and consultative services.
- A growing practice with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough, and a nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line at Maine Medical Center, serving as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network.
- Providing patients across the state with high-quality cardiac care, working closely with regional hospitals to build a coordinated cardiology services network.
- Direct teaching roles with Maine Medical Center's Cardiology Fellows and mentoring medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine.
- An academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Qualifications:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification or Board Eligible.
