Carter Specialty Hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility.

With a renowned reputation for pulmonary care and decades of experience in ventilator weaning, we provide unparalleled quality in short-term rehabilitation therapy and long-term skilled nursing services. At Carter, we prioritize patient-centered care and clinical excellence across the continuum of long-term acute and skilled nursing care.
Responsibilities
As a Nocturnist at Henry J. Carter, you will:

• Demonstrate a commitment to community health, evidence-based practice, academic medicine, and patient-centered care.
• Adhere to applicable regulations for physician services and medical management.
• Initiate referrals for consult and specialty services as needed.
• Provide direct clinical services, including primary care and acute illness management, adhering to established protocols and evidence-based standards.
• Facilitate emergency and planned discharges to acute hospitals or medical treatment facilities.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records, orders, and documentation.
  

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible within 5 years post residency required; Geriatrics preferred
• Passion for patient care and clinical excellence
