Renown Health is seeking a Vascular Neurohospitalist to join our highly successful medical group within Northern Nevada's largest, not-for-profit, locally owned healthcare network. This is an employed position with Renown Medical Group.

Requirements:

  • Vascular Fellowship is mandatory.
  • Strong ICU experience is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Round in the NeuroICU treating severe brain hemorrhage and managing ischemic stroke cases.
  • Oversee care of complex neurological conditions and prepare patients for post-acute rehabilitation.
  • Read and interpret MRI, CT, CTA scans.
  • Respond to all Stroke Codes as part of the Stroke Team when on shift.

This partnership aims to improve community health through research, education, and expanded clinical care. Renown physicians participate as joint faculty, involved in teaching, supervising clinical rotations, and academic activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.

  • 14 shifts/month with flexible scheduling
  • One day per month dedicated to stroke clinic
  • Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
