WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians across various specialties. We prioritize quality, compassionate care, and are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art healthcare to our patients and community.
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Gastroenterologist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be part of a high-volume, high-producing Gastroenterology practice comprising 8 Gastroenterologists, supported by 10 APPs, 4 Nurses, and 8 Medical Assistants. Our physicians deliver inpatient critical care at WakeMed, as well as outpatient services and procedures. Our locations include Raleigh, North Raleigh, and Cary.
The WakeMed Physician will provide quality clinical care to patients within their division. Responsibilities may include teaching and supervising residents, medical students, and/or APPs. The physician is also responsible for appropriate coding, compliance, and may have some administrative duties. The physician reports directly to the division director and aligns with WakeMed's mission, values, and management principles.

Minimum Requirements
- Licensed Medical Physician
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Fellowship, Internship, or Residency in a related area
