Position Overview

The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, within the Division of Cardiology, is seeking a full-time Intensivist at the rank up to Associate Professor. The candidate will serve as Co-Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and play a key leadership role in expanding clinical programs. There are opportunities for clinical research and collaboration through the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute of Chicago.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree and eligibility for an Illinois medical license
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
  • Completion of a categorical fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology

The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $318,468 - $394,134

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is ranked among the nation's top children's hospitals. The Lurie Children's Heart Center has expanded significantly and includes over 60 full-time attending cardiologists, 12 general cardiology fellows, 5 advanced/senior fellows, three congenital heart surgeons, and a dedicated team of cardiac anesthesiologists. Opportunities for interdisciplinary research are available through the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute of Northwestern Medicine and the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute. Cardiac intensive care services are provided in the state-of-the-art 44-bed Regenstein Cardiac Care Unit.
