Position Overview
The Section of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to serve the Wilkesboro, Elkin, and Northern Region, with practice responsibilities at our main campus, teaching hospital, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. The regional duties include ambulatory clinic, inpatient consults, emergency department consults, procedural supervision, and reporting.
This position is located in a rural area but is easily commutable from the main campus hospital and Winston-Salem, NC.
Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Fellowship trained
- Proven record of clinical excellence, research, and interest in graduate medical education
- North Carolina medical licensure or eligibility
- Rank commensurate with credentials and experience
