Position Overview

Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a BE/BC Cardiologist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. The hospital is the only facility in New Mexico with a congenital cardiac surgery program, performing approximately 200 surgeries annually, and serving a population of about 3.5 million across New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.

Practice Highlights

• Consult on ED, NICU, and PICU patients at Presbyterian and partner hospitals.
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiology, electrophysiology, adult congenital, and pediatric heart surgery colleagues.
• Prepare for clinics by determining necessary prior testing.
• Manage patient care during clinic and urgent cases.
• Perform and interpret TTE, TEE, ECGs, and fetal echocardiograms (non-essential).
• Weekly schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM 5 PM; Call: 1:4.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Experience in general pediatric cardiology.

• Ability to obtain medical license in New Mexico.
