Join Tufts Medical Center Division of Hematology / Oncology

We are recruiting an exceptional colleague to join our busy Malignant Hematology / BMT practice in Downtown Boston, MA as an Academic Hematology / BMT Hospitalist.

The Division is distinguished for high-quality clinical care, groundbreaking research, and excellence in teaching in Medical Oncology and Hematology. We foster academic faculty development and offer opportunities for interdisciplinary and translational research collaboration and teaching at all levels of medical education. Our faculty actively pursue collaborative work across the Tufts Health Sciences campus.

Become part of an active, growing academic Hematology/Oncology division with a history of pioneering multi-disciplinary cancer care, cutting-edge surgical and radiation therapies, and collaborative clinical, translational, and population health research.

How Youll Transform Patient Care

  1. Manage inpatients on the Malignant Hematology / BMT service in collaboration with Hematology Oncology faculty and fellows.
  2. Provide consultative services in Hematology for inpatients at Tufts Medical Center.
  3. Supervise and teach Internal Medicine interns, residents, and fellows on the inpatient Malignant Hematology / BMT and Hematology Consultation services.
  4. Precept and teach medical students at Tufts University School of Medicine during their rotations.
  5. Oversee quality programs and metrics on the Hematology Oncology inpatient services.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and/or Medical Oncology.
  • Experience in immune effector cell therapy including CAR-T and allogeneic transplantation.
  • Potential for academic excellence.
  • Value collaborative work in complex clinical care.
