Practice Specifics

• Seeking one neurosurgeon to join a high-volume, fast-paced practice.
• Provide specialty care to a high-demand area serving North Dakota and Western Minnesota.
• Work comprises 15% Cranial Services and 85% Spine Services, with opportunities for program development and service line integration.
• Level II Trauma Center with a 133-bed hospital.
• Comprehensive Stroke Certified Hospital through DNV, offering Interventional Neurology Services.
• Collaborate with a team including 1 Neurosurgeon, 1 Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, 2 APPs, and Interventional Neurology/Stroke Team.
• Opportunity to lead surgical program development and support equipment needs.
• Potential to perform pediatric neurosurgery.
• Dedicated Neurosurgical ICU and Medical Surgical Units.
• Office patient volume: 15-20 per day; Procedures: 2-5 per day.
• Call schedule: Weekdays and weeknights, 15 days/month, primarily phone consults.
• Average inpatient practice: 10 patients/week.
• Dedicated Neurosurgical Operating Rooms.

Requirements

• BE/BC in Neurosurgery.
• Fellowship-trained physicians encouraged to apply.

• Service area includes 25 clinics and 7 hospitals.
• Centrally located on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota.
• Accessible international airport; 3.5 hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
• Fargo-Moorhead population over 240,000; vibrant, growing community with rich arts, food, culture, and nightlife scenes.
• Cost of living is 4% below the national average; housing costs are 12% lower.

Compensation

• Salary: $890,000, with potential bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
