Job Description

We have an immediate need to hire a qualified Podiatrist to join our team in San Diego, CA and Riverside County (Temecula Area). Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Podiatrist provides routine care and referral services to patients, including:

  • Examining patients legs and feet to diagnose diseases and care needs.
  • Treating bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles.
  • Performing wound care management.
  • Diagnosing diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical exams, x-rays, and lab tests.
  • Prescribing medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery as appropriate.
  • Advising patients on treatment plans and foot and ankle care to prevent future problems.
  • Providing education and consultation to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Providing health promotion and preventive medication.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records for assigned patients.

Requirements

  • Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms and progress accurately.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for medical care.
  • Knowledge of diagnosing and treating injuries, diseases, and deformities.
  • Problem-solving skills to develop and evaluate treatment options.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR, and databases.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Successful background check and a clean DMV report.
  • Willingness to travel within San Diego and Riverside counties, including specific locations.

Education & Experience

  • Active Podiatrist license in California.
  • Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school.
  • Completion of an accredited podiatric residency.
  • Minimum three years of professional experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $175,000 plus a percentage of collections.
  • Benefits for full-time employees working 30+ hours weekly, starting after 30 days.
  • Participation in 401(k) plan with up to 4% match after 60 days.
