Job Overview
MUSC Health, in collaboration with Tidelands, is recruiting skilled, BC/BE, General Cardiologists to meet community needs. Join a well-established, employed group including two interventional cardiologists, one general invasive cardiologist, one cardiac imaging specialist, and five advanced practice providers. The practice currently has four outpatient locations with plans to expand to a fifth. The service area covers Georgetown and Horry County, SC, a rapidly growing region with a large retiree and senior population.
Practice Details
- Two hospitals: Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital & Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, with plans for a third, Tidelands Health Carolina Bays Hospital
- Four outpatient practices: Georgetown, Pawleys Island (main hub), Murrells Inlet, and Market Common (Myrtle Beach), with plans for a fifth in North Myrtle Beach
- 3 RCIS-certified technicians
- Special device clinic for pacemaker and cardiac implant patients at Pawleys Island
- One Cath Lab and one Special Procedures Room
- CT Cardiac Imaging capabilities
- Partnership with MUSC Health to expand community access to cardiology services
Position Details
- Full-time; inpatient/outpatient
- Shared call schedule (currently 1:4, future 1:5) with interventional backup
