Responsibilities

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, Center for Cardiovascular Health , in Silverdale, Washington, is seeking a full-time non-invasive Cardiologist for the state-of-the-art St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a team recognized for excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes across the Puget Sound, Kitsap Peninsula, and Olympic Peninsula. The area is renowned for its natural beauty and outdoor activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in non-invasive imaging, including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and optionally cardiac CT. Recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.

Our cardiovascular service line includes fourteen Cardiologists and thirteen advanced practice practitioners, comprising interventional cardiologists, a structural cardiologist, electrophysiologists, an advanced cardiac imager specializing in cardiac MRI, and an advanced heart failure cardiologist. The team has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association and the American Thoracic Surgeons. Our hospital is a leader in PCI volumes, quality, and outcomes, with a robust structural heart program including TAVR and left atrial appendage occlusion. The service line extends across an 11-hospital system, including three tertiary centers, and hosts the Virginia Mason Franciscan Cardiovascular Fellowship program.

Qualifications

  • BC/BE in Cardiology, certified by the American Board of Cardiology
  • Ability to obtain a medical license in Washington State
  • Ability to obtain DEA license with full prescriptive authority
  • BLS certification
