Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join its dynamic 7-physician MFM team in Tampa, FL.
- A Legacy of Excellence: Over 30 years of growth and a reputation for exceptional clinical care.
- Work-Life Balance: Emphasis on quality care and personal/family time, with manageable patient loads and strong interpersonal relationships.
- Diverse Work Environment: Mix of office and hospital-based work across 4 hospitals and multiple locations, without delivery service.
- Collaborative Support: Work alongside OB Hospitalist and Neonatology teams at St. Josephs Womens Hospital, featuring a 76-bed Level-IV NICU and 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage.
- Extended Coverage: Care at Advent, Morton Plant, and Meese Countryside Hospitals, including a high-risk clinic with Baycare Health.
- Flexible Call Schedule: No obstetrical deliveries, with a 1:6 call rotation, typically on call 5 times a month and once every 6th weekend.
- Advanced Equipment: Access to state-of-the-art perinatal ultrasound technology.
- Strong Partnerships: Collaborate with highly qualified fetal echo ultrasonographers, OBGYNs, Midwives, Neonatologists, and hospital partners.
- Academic Opportunities: Potential to teach with the new OB/GYN residency starting July 2026 at St Joseph's Women's Hospital.
- Nationwide Network: Part of Pediatrix Medical Group, comprising 30 MFM practices and over 150 physicians across more than 15 states.
