We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead the development of Gen AI-powered features in the Analytics cloud service. The candidate should be capable of managing a large, geographically distributed team and delivering innovative features regularly.
What Youll Do:
As a leader in the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software development and NLP to lead your team in designing, developing, and debugging enterprise-class software applications. Your team will design, implement, deploy, and leverage NLP models within business analytics and data visualization contexts, working with search engines and vector stores to enhance natural language queries, semantic similarity, autocomplete, and autosuggest features. You will help build the technology behind next-generation data insights experiences.
We enjoy tackling challenging, open-ended problems and working closely with customers and product management to identify and deliver new functionalities. Our work is often exploratory, and you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact prototypes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex logical problems are essential for success in this environment.

Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or Bachelor's plus additional experience.
- 10+ years in software development.
- 5+ years leading teams in cloud/enterprise initiatives.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and software design.
- Experience developing distributed systems with focus on scale, security, reliability, and performance.
