BayCare Medical Group (BMG), a physician-led, multispecialty organization, is actively seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologists to join our growing cardiology team across several locations in Central Florida, including Winter Haven, Bartow , and Wesley Chapel . These positions offer the chance to practice advanced, patient-centered cardiology in thriving communities while enjoying the support of one of the regions most respected healthcare systems.

Practice Opportunities

Winter Haven: Join a collaborative, high-volume team at a state-of-the-art facility. Ideal for experienced cardiologists with 5+ years of practice and advanced interventional skills, including PCI, atherectomy, IVUS/FFR, and structural procedures (TAVR, TMVR). Work closely with an experienced multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

Bartow: Step into a robust outpatient/elective interventional practice with a lower-volume emergent PCI program. This role includes access to echo, stress testing, and remote monitoring, supported by a seasoned APP and collaboration with nearby interventional partners at BayCare Winter Haven Hospital.

Wesley Chapel: Join a growing cardiovascular team at a brand-new, modern hospital alongside an Invasive Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, and three APPs. This position balances outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, with 1:3 call and access to Tampa Bays lifestyle amenities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, manage, and treat cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures: cardiac catheterizations, PCI, angiography, stenting, atherectomy, IVUS, FFR.
  • Participate in outpatient clinic and inpatient consults; provide emergent interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, high-quality care.
  • Engage in preventive care education and community outreach.
  • Support quality initiatives, research, and teaching efforts, particularly in advanced or leadership roles.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
  • Florida medical license or eligibility
  • Strong clinical skills, team-oriented approach, and commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
