Fire and Life Safety service company is aggressively seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to be a fire alarm service technician.
Responsibilities include:
Perform service activities on fire alarm systems. Perform annual fire alarm inspections and make repairs as needed. Troubleshoot system and perform necessary corrections. Service panels with hardwired zones or addressable systems with no supervision. Survey building alarm systems and make service recommendations to ensure trouble free system operation. Submit all daily billing information, service reports and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Promptly respond to customer needs in a professional and enthusiastic manner. Coordinate rescheduling of any services with the dispatcher. Perform all duties in compliance with applicable codes and manufacturer's requirements.
Requirements:
Electrician Certification/NICET certification preferred.
Experience with hand tools and multi-meter
Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting systems - problem solving
Ability to follow written and verbal directions
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly
Ability to adhere to safety policy at all times
Works well with others
