The shift for this role is Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Maintenance Technician
Our Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the General Manager in the operation of the facility as it relates to its maintenance, repairs, cleaning, modifications, construction projects and their completion in a timely, safe, and fiscally responsible manner.
Your role in caring for our plants:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for building and grounds maintenance
Ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
Verify proper operation of facilities systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs by following instruction and utilizing operations manuals
Assist General Manager with ensuring contract services work meets specified results to minimize future operational problems; includes inspecting completed work and reporting failure to meet contract specifications
Confirm security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
Recommend both proactive and reactive maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
Effectively plan and schedule daily/weekly preventive maintenance activities while continually developing long term plans
Communicate workplace safety precautions to employees
Perform other duties such as taking out municipal trash/recycling
Periodically verify fire extinguishers are within approved dates and replace units when needed
Contribute to the overall success of the facilities by performing other essential duties as assigned
Qualifications we ask you to have:
For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of .
You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.
We ask that you have a minimum of 2 year's maintenance experience in a professional/management role.
An OSHA certification is .
We ask that you have experience handling vendors, contractors, and installations; experience with equipment repair and installations.
Experience with fire extinguisher training a plus.
Addition skills which will help you excel in your role:
Strong attention to detail!
Desire and ability to work as a member of a team.
Compliance with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
Work closely with other grow team members and the Cultivation Director on a daily basis.
Strong work ethics - be accountable and proactive.
Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment!
Strong experience with inspection, predictive and preventive maintenance, planning, execution, root cause failure analysis and improvements.
