This role will focus on understanding the current-state content landscape-including tools, processes, and team structures-and guiding the transformation to a modernized, scalable, and automated content platform. Your efforts will streamline how we manage creative assets, product content, imagery, video, CGI, and marketing copy across the enterprise, ensuring consistency, speed-to-market, and digital readiness.

This position is fully remote.

A day in the life as a Lead Developer, Content Lifecycle Operations...

Lead and maintain API-driven asset syndication workflows between core systems (DAM, PIM, CMS) and third-party destinations (retailers, marketplaces, syndication partners)

Serve as a platform integrator and technical lead for asset delivery systems, ensuring metadata accuracy, permissions alignment, and consistent file standards

Manage and monitor syndication performance using dashboards, logs, and analytics tools to ensure successful content delivery and troubleshoot failures

Partner with IT and platform vendors to design and maintain integration points, ensuring scalability, uptime, and future-proofing of systems

Maintain structured metadata schemas and taxonomy standards to ensure downstream compatibility and content discoverability

Collaborate with product, content, and marketing teams to define delivery requirements, schedules, and formats for product imagery and digital content

Support governance and lifecycle management of digital assets across systems like DAM, PIM, CMS, and CDN platforms

What you'll bring to the table...

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Digital Media, Marketing Operations, or related field

Strong understanding of API integrations, webhooks, and asset delivery pipelines

Working knowledge of content syndication use cases, including file formats, metadata mapping, and delivery specs

Familiarity with content lifecycle systems including CMS (e.g., Adobe AEM), workflow tools (e.g., Workfront), and CDN platforms (e.g., Cloudinary, Akamai)

Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills across systems and endpoints

Clear communicator with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

5+ years of experience in software application development, focused on content operations, DAM/PIM systems, and the design and development of APIs and microservices

Experience in retail or ecommerce content ecosystems

Familiarity with 3D model handling and image optimization workflows (without transformation responsibilities)

Understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and stakeholder alignment

Experience with operational dashboards and content analytics tools

Minimum Starting Rate: $126,960.00 Annually

Up to: $158,700.00 Annually

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
