About the Bradley Cybersecurity Clinic

The Center for Cybersecurity is establishing the Bradley University Cybersecurity Clinic, designed to provide students with real-world, hands-on cybersecurity consulting experience and support to nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and local governments. The Clinic will be student-run and multidisciplinary, drawing participation from students in cybersecurity, management, marketing, accounting, among others.

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented student workers to help establish the Clinic, recruit client organizations, and perform assessment activities. As a Clinic student worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering cybersecurity services to real clients while gaining valuable professional experience in cybersecurity, consulting, communication, and teamwork. There are three primary roles available: Cybersecurity Analyst, Operations Coordinator, and Marketing Specialist.

Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist focuses on increasing awareness of the Clinic, promoting its mission, and supporting fundraising efforts. It blends marketing, public relations, and development strategy.

Create and manage content for social media, newsletters, and the clinic website. Design promotional materials (e.g., flyers, graphics) to advertise services and events. Plan and execute outreach campaigns to recruit clients and student participants. Organize tabling events, info sessions, or campus presentations. Assist with identifying and applying for grants or sponsorships. Develop fundraising campaigns and maintain donor relationships. Track marketing performance and fundraising progress. The Marketing Specialist position is ideal for students studyingMarketing, Communications, Public Relations, or students with creative and strategic thinking skills.

Desired Qualifications

Interest in cybersecurity, risk management, or related fields. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities. No prior technical experience required - we provide training! Benefits
