Job Description

Feedmill Level B mechanics repair, program, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and adjust equipment and machines to provide optimal performance. Execute work orders and perform preventative maintenance and repair for all feed mill related equipment. Detects potential mechanical and electrical problems, maintains the required written records including work performed, corrective actions, and installed replacement parts. Skill set: welding, cutting, light electrical.

Night Shift (2pm - 12:30am*) Sunday - Friday

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus*

Duties/Activities Required by Job Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on all Feedmill Equipment and Machinery Inspect feed mill equipment daily, detect potential mechanical and electrical problems and implement solutions. Conduct consistent hourly checks on boiler room. Respond to breakdowns, assess and coordinate proper resources to address problem Maintain required written records/reports for work performed, corrective actions and parts management. Manage requisitions and inventory. Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters Educations/Experience Requirements

High school. Technical training in mechanics, experience in manufacturing setting preferred. 3-5 yrs. experience with Maintenance in a manufacturing setting Experience in 3 phase electric. Hydraulics. Ability to handle a variety mechanical tasks such as, but not limited to: manual blow downs, changing sight glasses, regenerate softener's, changing out pipe fittings, and housekeeping.
