As the official dental office for the FAU Men's Basketball team, we've become synonymous with excellence in both general and specialized dentistry services. Our integrated practice unites skilled general dentists, an endodontist, and an oral surgeon, offering a comprehensive suite of dental solutions all under a single roof. Whether you're seeking routine care or specialized treatment, our team is committed to providing top-tier dental services conveniently located for you and your family.
Position Overview:
This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and desired to get started in the dental field. environment. The person will be a support person to all the staff members and patients in his/her office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager. Responsibilities
Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
Answering Telephones
Scheduling Appointments
Maintaining Appointment Book
Confirming Appointments
Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
Register Patients on sign in sheet
Post charges and payments to patient accounts
Checking voicemail on a daily basis
Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
Qualifications
4+ yrs (Must have at least 4+ years of hands on experience working in a dental office)
Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office, preferred
Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus
Experience answering telephone
Must have exceptional customer service skills
