Job Details
Summary: The position is responsible for studying individual customer and industry business processes, identifying customer and key influencer objectives, and adapting the specified technology to meet the customers needs. The Business Solutions Analyst provides personalized interviews, consultation, customer training, software system configuration, and technical support to clients to create value and optimize assets. This individual acts as the primary contact for assigned clients and coordinates all related client service activities on behalf of both the client and Micro. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Use system analysis processes to understand customer procedures and business goals. Configure the MICRO Technology system and develop programs, specifications, and procedures to achieve goals efficiently. Communicate effectively in written and verbal form regarding system requirements, animal health, and client/veterinarian goals. Coordinate schedules and complete work orders for system installation, including hardware specifications and handoff to the Field Hardware IT team. Responsible for system configuration, data loading, quality assurance, testing, and training for clients. Train clients on inventory management and FDA compliance guidelines. Install software packages onto client computers, including operating systems and database engines. Develop and communicate operating procedures related to the Micro Technology system. Understand client requirements, design solutions, and create business requirement documents for development teams. Evaluate and test software prototypes and final products to ensure client requirements are met. Modify software and train clients on updates. Define and implement remote access connectivity. Present ongoing evaluations of the system and hardware for continuous improvement. Monitor system performance, report findings, and suggest process improvements. Detect potential software and process issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve them. Perform other duties as assigned.
#LI-MP1 Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree or 2 years of college experience, preferably in Animal Science, Feedlot Management, Nutrition, or related fields. Two to three years of experience in a feed yard, mainly in feed management. Working knowledge of PCs, operating systems, databases, and related software. General knowledge of cattle and agricultural processes. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently within the U.S., including up to 50% overnight travel.
