Job Description

The Field Service Technician is a unionized position that performs single phase meter testing and exchange of single phase and three phase electric meters in the field. This job will include working around energized meter sockets with wiring connections exposed.

Responsibilities: Change out \ exchange of AMI electric meters in the field. Testing and calibration of AMI electric meters in the field. Usage of a multi-meter for voltage and current verification. Requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment including FR Clothing and insulated rubber gloves. Work with energized meter sockets and cabinets up to 500 volts. Interface with customers while on site. Qualifications:

High School Degree or Equivalent required 3 years of electric or utility experience required 1 year or more years of experience changing electric meters 1 year or more years of experience testing electric meter Ability to travel 75-100% of the time

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
