Job Title: General Utility Associate
Location: Florence, KY 41042
Duration: 03 Months
3rd Shift: 7:45 PM - 8:00 AM
Job Description: The General Utility Associate helps the facility in several ways. They work with production to ensure production lines have materials, completes paperwork, maintain housekeeping, and can assist with quality checks so the team operates smoothly and safely. This position also helps ensure shipments are staged, loaded, and labeled correctly to ensure that the correct product goes out on time every shift.
Essential Functions: Work closely with plant staff to provide a safe work environment. Responsible for starting and operating mixer/production line. Empty production line into pallets for WIP or finished goods. Keep count of inventory produced during shift. Helps keep track of actual downtime and cause. Ensures proper packaging materials are used for product type. Responsible for building pallets to keep up with product output. Unload/load trucks and stage products into correct location. Periodically inspect for quality issues. May be done visually or with tools. Keep the work area clean using 6S process. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred. General work experience in manufacturing or a similar field is required. Plastics experience would be a big plus.
