Glenbrook North High School's Buildings and Grounds Department is seeking a candidate for the
Custodian - Evening
Shift
position. This is a 10-month role aligned with the 203-Employee calendar.
The Custodian - Evening is responsible for maintaining and cleaning various areas of the school building.
WORK SCHEDULE Saturday and Sunday: Morning Shifts Monday through Wednesday: Evening Shifts Days Off: Thursday and Friday MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED). Ability to work in a building alone, identify & take action to remedy potential safety or health concerns. Ability to read and understand basic directions and operating instructions such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate verbally to staff, students, and community visitors while demonstrating a positive attitude.

Glenbrook High School District 225, commonly referred to as the Glenbrooks has a student enrollment of approximately 5,000 students. Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South High Schools have a reputation for offering students an excellent, high-quality, well-rounded educational experience. In addition to our two high schools, the Glenbrooks also offer alternative learning at Glenbrook Off-Campus.
To create a comprehensive high school experience, the Glenbrooks focus on four distinct areas: Academics, Athletics, Activities, and the Arts. Academic success is a top priority for our students and with almost 300 diverse course offerings, there is plenty of opportunity for exploration.
