We are seeking two Seasonal Warehouse Associates to join our team.
Job Duties:
Receiving and Processing Shipments:
Unload incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders. Inspect items for damage and report any discrepancies. Inventory Management:
Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock counts. Order Fulfillment:
Pull and pack orders according to customer specifications. Ensure orders are correctly labeled and ready for shipment. Putaways:
Place items in their designated storage locations within the warehouse.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors and general upkeep. Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or maintenance needs.
Forklift Operation:
Operate sit-down forklifts, both propane and electric. Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained properly. Customer Assistance: Assist customers with will call orders in a professional manner.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to meet daily goals. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Requirements: Forklift experience (sit-down) preferred. Ability to operate propane and electric forklifts. Professional appearance and demeanor for customer interactions.
Qualifications: A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred. Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it. Forklift Operator experience is a preferred.
Responsibilities: Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material. Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
