Posting Summary Rutgers University-Camden's Office of Disability Services is looking for an individual to assist with the facilitation and coordination of accommodations for eligible students per Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1998, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments of 2008. The Senior Accommodation Assistant will assist Office of Disability Services staff, as needed, in fulfilling or coordinating approved accommodations. This position will perform duties which include but are not limited to data entry; appropriate communication with students, faculty and staff; coordination of exams; note-taking; and registration.

FLSA Nonexempt

Salary Details $20.00/hour

Work Arrangement Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a fully remote work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience *Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. *Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Detail oriented. * Excellent communication skills: listening, oral, and writing. * Preferred work in disability services or studies in the health fields. * Must have previous experience using Microsoft Office software.
