The Sr. Civil Construction Estimator will be responsible for:
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other documents to accurately estimate the scope and cost of civil construction projects Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to support bid pricing. Develop bid proposals and submit tenders for public and private sector projects. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather essential information. Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams during the pre-construction phase. Maintain a database of historical cost data, unit prices, and production rates. Identify potential risks, value engineering options, and cost-saving opportunities. Monitor industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and market conditions affecting construction costs. Support contract negotiations and project handovers. The Successful Applicant
The ideal Sr. Civil Estimator will have:
10-15+ years of relatable experience Degree in construction management, engineering or related (preferred, not required) Proven track record of success supporting projects in the civil construction space including sitework, utilities, electrical distribution, earthwork, etc. Strong computer/software capabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Leadership ability or interest in managing others Apply today for immediate consideration!
