Junior Associate Designer
Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Associate Designer to join our team to join our Footwear department. This is a great opportunity for those looking to be a part of an energetic, creative, and collaborative group. Our designers have been shaping our department for the better season after season.
Responsibilities: Design ownership over selected licensed brands and assigned to you based on your aesthetic and creative strengths, responsible for CADing full seasonal collections. CAD work for various private label accounts, typically fun prints with understanding of brand DNA. Conduct trend research and market analysis to inform design direction and ensure relevance in the market. Work closely with design director and senior designers with creative freedom throughout process Communicate effectively with international offices and factories to ensure seamless production. Work closely with product development team so they properly develop your design the way you envision Conduct sourcing, trend research, and competitive shopping to stay on top of market trends and innovation. Qualifications:
1+ years of industry experience in a corporate setting Associate or bachelor's degree preferred Excellent time management skills Strong project management skills Ability to meet deadlines Development mindset, wanting to grow and learn Ability to be agile while working in a fast-paced environment Proficient in illustrator Impeccable work ethic Positive team player Benefits and Perks:

NY Pay Transparency:
The pay range for this position is ($50,000 - $55,000) based on skills and experience.
