We're currently seeking a skilled and dedicated
Field Service Technician
to join our construction equipment team. In this role, you'll perform hands-on diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work at customer job sites while representing the Arnold name with pride and professionalism. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of construction equipment Travel to customer job sites to perform field service Disassemble, clean, and reassemble mechanical components Read and follow specifications in service manuals Measure parts for reuse or replacement; order new parts as needed Use diagnostic tools to fine-tune systems and identify issues Submit warranty reports and make recommendations for claims Perform light welding, fabrication, plumbing, and D.C. electrical repairs Mentor or guide less experienced technicians as needed Communicate effectively with customers regarding job status, progress, or concerns Maintain detailed service records and process work orders Assist with parts ordering and warranty documentation Respond to service calls and manage field tickets Maintain a clean and organized service truck/work area Who You Are Experienced with construction equipment repair and maintenance Able to work independently in the field and problem-solve under pressure Comfortable reading manuals, schematics, and using diagnostic software Detail-oriented, organized, and safety-conscious Strong verbal and written communication skills Customer-service driven with a team-first attitude Physical Requirements Able to walk, bend, lift, and move through uneven terrain Regularly lift and carry over 50 lbs Climb in/out of equipment and vehicles Use hands and arms for tool operation and equipment handling Stand, kneel, or lie in prone positions for extended periods Sit while operating machinery and driving Hear and communicate clearly by phone, radio, and in person Perks & Benefits $2,000 Sign-On Bonus 100% Company-Paid Medical Insurance
