Job Summary:
Responsible for packaging parts for shipment/transport.
Measure, weigh, and count products and materials Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records Seal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.) Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly Perform other duties as assigned SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Other Physical Requirements • Vision (Near, Distance) • Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversations • Sense of Touch • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses • Standing for long periods of time
Benefits:

WORK ENVIRONMENT The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting.
This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
