About the Role Rho is hiring a

Brand Creative Strategist

to lead founder-first campaigns that stop founders mid-scroll, challenge category norms, and make Rho the obvious financial partner for early-stage startups.

This isn't a visual identity or brand systems role-the foundation is set. Your job is to make it resonate. Think less "financial services advertising," and more "the campaign that makes VCs text their portfolio companies about switching to Rho."

You might be an

agency creative who's tired of making ads for companies you'd never use . You've built campaigns that won awards, but now you want to build something that wins customers. You're done with work that dies in deck reviews-you want your ideas to actually see the light of day. You're ready to trade creative politics for creative impact.

Or maybe you're a

startup brand marketer who's ready to think bigger . You've been heads-down on growth metrics and product launches, but you've seen how the big creative plays actually move the needle. You want to build campaigns that shift entire categories.

Either way, this is your chance to launch the next great fintech campaign-and own the kind of work that opens doors for years to come. You'll develop bold ideas rooted in insight and shaped for the moment. Each quarter, you'll lead campaigns that show up across social, OOH, digital, and IRL-and move fast when speed matters. When OpenAI drops a new model or the Fed moves rates, you'll have creative live before our competitors finish approvals. The right message at the right moment wins deals-and you'll help us write it.

You'll join a lean, mighty internal brand studio that runs like an in-house agency: part strategist, part writer, part creative director, part founder whisperer. No creative bureaucracy. No endless reviews. Just smart, sharp work that ships.

You're plugged into startup culture. You listen to All-In, follow the latest YC batch, and get genuinely excited about what early teams are building. You know what keeps founders up at night (hint: it's not brand guidelines). You'll use that insight to create work that actually resonates.

Responsibilities Own and lead Rho's brand campaigns, pitching and building quarterly creative that speaks directly to startup founders Turn strategy into action-translate positioning and company goals into sharp briefs, then develop big ideas that shift perception and drive behavior Write founder-relevant copy that's clear, memorable, and built for attention across digital, physical, and social surfaces Move fast when it counts-spinning up creative aligned with launches, market shifts, funding cycles, or cultural moments Think like a founder, create like a pro-you've either lived it or been close enough to know what matters and what doesn't Partner with the Head of Brand Design to bring ideas to life across every channel-social, OOH, digital, events, and the moments between moments Collaborate across Marketing, Product, Growth, Community, and Events to integrate brand campaigns into go-to-market plays Operate as a senior IC-you'll lead campaigns end-to-end without needing a full team behind you Present your work with confidence, tying big ideas to strategic goals and delivering with clarity to senior leadership Track impact using brand-relevant metrics, including search interest, awareness lift, engagement, and founder feedback Raise the creative bar-offering sharp critique and hands-on support to keep execution high-quality and founder-aligned Qualifications

6-10 years of creative experience, with a mix of agency and/or in-house work across integrated campaigns A portfolio of campaigns that show original thinking, strong execution, and a tight match between message and audience Deep familiarity with tech and startup culture-you live in founder group chats, follow fundraises, and stay tapped into early-stage energy Strong conceptual and strategic skills-you lead with insight, not aesthetics Excellent copywriting with a founder-tuned voice-sharp, clear, never corporate Proven ability to translate business goals into brand work that drives results Experience creating standout campaigns across digital, social, OOH, and IRL Comfortable making complex financial topics feel simple, relevant, and even cool A bias toward action-able to move fast and execute cleanly even without a big team High creative judgment, collaborative energy, and a real drive to raise the bar

Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is

$175,000 - $210,000.

Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
