As a Part-time Warehouse Selector, you will play a crucial role in serving our customers by efficiently assembling and loading pallets of products according to our high operational standards. Job Responsibilities: Utilize pick sheets to navigate to the correct locations in the warehouse using a pallet jack. Select the appropriate products in the right quantities, label them, and meticulously place them on pallets before loading onto trucks while adhering to guidelines. Maintain food safety protocols through consistent quality checks and proper product handling to prevent contamination. Keep the warehouse clean and organized, immediately addressing any spills or damages. Communicate effectively with management regarding product issues and safety concerns. Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety regulations. Document your work accurately using a handheld device while maintaining punctuality and attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team. Qualifications: Education High school diploma or GED required. Experience Preferred: 6 months of prior warehouse experience or equivalent work experience. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Forklift and pallet jack certification required. Professional Skills: Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and food safety guidelines. Ability to quickly and accurately build pallets. Proven capability in operating warehouse equipment in confined spaces. Achieve minimum productivity standards set by the company. Effective communication skills in English for safety compliance. Basic math skills for inventory management. Problem-solving aptitude. Understanding and following instructions both written and verbal. Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required. Physical Demand: Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands frequently, reaching, bending, and lifting as needed. Ability to lift or move up to 50 - 90 pounds regularly. Work Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures, including extreme cold and heat, as well as loud noise levels. Regularly working near moving mechanical parts.
