Job Summary: The
Maintenance Technician I
is responsible for the repair, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of production machinery and equipment. This includes working with engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and various production machines. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities to support manufacturing operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
preventive maintenance tasks
using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including greasing equipment, oil changes, and filter cleaning Maintain
accurate records
of maintenance activities in the CMMS and Production Data Entry (PDE) system Communicate with shift leaders and production personnel
to understand maintenance needs and coordinate responses Interpret production setups to perform accurate tooling adjustments and maintenance Complete and maintain
maintenance checklists
in a thorough and timely manner Organize and manage parts inventory , ensuring accuracy within CMMS Assist with
tooling functions
and provide support to shift personnel as needed Troubleshoot, repair, or replace
defective mechanical components
and machinery parts Maintain a
clean and safe work environment
and comply with company safety protocols Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent work experience Valid driver's license in good standing Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with shop tools (e.g., grinders, hammer drill, mag drill, micrometers) Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical manuals Proficient in basic math, including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Willingness to learn welding techniques if not already skilled
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Capable of pushing or pulling up to 250 pounds Ability to work
12-hour shifts
and perform
repetitive tasks Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, crouching, twisting, and reaching Ability to work in
tight or awkward spaces Good vision and depth perception, with the ability to focus on detailed tasks

Pay Details:
$25.00 to $27.00 per hour
