About the Role:
We are seeking a Mid-Senior level Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to join our growing team in La Jolla, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to a variety of drainage infrastructure and storm water quality projects for public sector clients.
The ideal candidate is technically proficient, communicative, and self-driven with a passion for managing meaningful water resource projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute water resources projects from planning and design through review and construction.
Prepare and review hydrologic and hydraulic studies using software like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WSPG, etc.
Coordinate with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
Attend occasional in-person client meetings as needed.
Support proposal development and contribute to client relationship management.
Qualifications
California Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
4+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in water resources modeling and stormwater management tools
Strong written communication and client-facing skills
Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
