Summary

The Preventive Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing all preventive maintenance activities across the organization to ensure the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of equipment and machinery. This role focuses on minimizing downtime, extending asset lifespan, and improving operational efficiency through proactive maintenance strategies.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for equipment, machinery, and facilities. Create maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations, industry standards, and operational data. Ensure all maintenance work is documented and logged appropriately. Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and staff. Assign work orders and monitor progress to ensure timely completion. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support. Maintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and equipment. Monitor and analyze equipment performance and failure trends to optimize maintenance plans. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure maintenance activities comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Maintain up-to-date records for audits and regulatory compliance. Develop and manage the preventive maintenance budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities through efficient maintenance practices and procurement strategies. Use a maintenance management system to track maintenance activities, schedule work, and generate reports. Analyze maintenance metrics to drive performance improvements. Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of heavy civil construction experience, with 5 years of experience in Equipment and/or Services HCSS and heavy equipment 360 experience preferred but not required Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required Experience with Procurement materials and parts Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word Valid driver license for occasional, required travel Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature. Some exposure to outdoors with changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind. Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers Will require some bending and lifting of up to 100 Lbs.
