About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Agent to join our team in the Live Events, Transportation, and Warehousing industry. As a Warehouse Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. You will work closely with our warehouse team to maintain an efficient, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
As part of the warehouse team, you will interact professionally with our customers and vendors. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. Overall, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and making sure our clients succeed in meeting their deadlines for their event.
Your ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding machines will be critical to your success in this role. Additionally, having experience in a customer service role will enable you to provide exceptional service to our clients and vendors.
As a full-time Warehouse Agent, you will work from our Los Angeles (90045) office and assist the Rock-it Cargo Operations team. As a team-member the ideal candidate will have a great opportunity to learn about project-based logistics and operations with room to grow within the company. We are looking to welcome someone with a bright and quick disposition to the Rock-it Cargo team.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming/outgoing shipments Packing, wrapping, labeling and/or shipping orders Managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in warehouse Safely Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding equipment Loading and unloading trucks/ocean containers Building and breaking down skids/airline pallets Maintain shipping and receiving logs Accepting and processing incoming materials Other warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Sharp attention to detail and ability to proactively problem solve Punctual and dependable Excellent communication skills Must wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Strong prioritization, planning, and time management skills Comfort with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and basic computer knowledge Must possess valid identification, preferably a valid driver's license Ability to pass a security background check Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 years of warehouse experience Forklift certification Experience with inventory management software Experience in a customer service role Benefits & Perks:
