Lead Bartender

Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities: • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more • Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid as well as record daily sales total and enter into point of sale system • Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations Qualifications: • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry Compensation: 10 - 15 hourly
