About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Consulting Manager
to help drive strategic engagements and lead key initiatives across our client portfolio. This is a client-facing role ideal for individuals who have worked at consulting firms and have a track record of writing and negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs), leading proposal development, and presenting directly to client executives. This position is being opened in parallel with our search for a delivery consultant, as part of our succession plan for a retiring team member.
Who You Are:
Lead proposal creation, pricing, and SOW development efforts in coordination with internal stakeholders and clients Present solutions to clients, negotiate contract terms, and align expectations on deliverables and timelines Identify and pursue new consulting opportunities within existing and prospective accounts Provide leadership across consulting engagements, ensuring quality execution, delivery excellence, and client satisfaction Manage cross-functional consulting teams across diverse projects, including business process improvement, systems integration, and technology strategy Act as a key advisor to senior-level client stakeholders and internal teams Create project roadmaps, support change management, and oversee end-to-end delivery Ensure ongoing knowledge development and share thought leadership across the organization Roles and Responsibilities:
6 years of experience in consulting, with a strong preference for candidates from consulting firms Experience developing proposals, building and negotiating SOWs, and leading client presentations Strong knowledge of consulting delivery and business transformation projects Proven success in managing client relationships and delivering results in complex environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Prior experience in telecommunications, media, or cable industries preferred Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus U.S. work authorization required Ability to travel as needed
