As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our advanced optics manufacturing and testing equipment running smoothly. Your work ensures that production stays on track and that our facility operates safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where your problem-solving skills and technical expertise will directly impact product quality and team success.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of production and facility equipment, including:

Automated, computerized, and CNC systems

Electrical systems (up to 480V)

Pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, and measurement systems

Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and schedule maintenance tasks

Perform preventive maintenance and develop procedures for long-term equipment reliability

Relocate, install, and set up equipment as needed

Operate scissor lifts and manual/electric pallet jacks

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to complete repairs and improvement projects

Handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations

Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, including kaizen events and daily problem solving

Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles

Must-Have Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably with CNC or production equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and vacuum systems

Comfortable working with electrical systems up to 480V using proper PPE and LOTO procedures

Familiarity with electronic measurement tools (e.g., DMM, ammeter, oscilloscope)

Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Comfortable with physical tasks such as climbing ladders, kneeling, crouching, and working in tight spaces

Able to wear PPE for respiratory, eye, skin, and hearing protection

Good vision and hearing (with or without correction)

Manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small components
