Industrial Mechanic - Aseptic Manufacturing
KINETIX, Sacramento, California, United States, 95828
If you're a hands-on problem solver with a deep understanding of mechanical systems and a knack for working under pressure, this is where you want to be.
We're looking for experienced Industrial Mechanics to join a team that keeps operations running in a fast-paced, high-volume, aseptic processing environment. You'll work with advanced steam systems, high-speed rotating equipment, and a wide variety of pumps, valves, motors, and conveyors-tearing them down, rebuilding them, and keeping production on track through peak tomato season and beyond.
This is not an entry-level role. You'll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with seasoned experts in a collaborative environment that values technical skill, long-term development, and loyalty. Whether it's a breakdown at 2 AM or a major rebuild during the off-season, you'll be at the heart of it all.
What You'll Do:
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and high-speed mechanical systems Work with evaporators, boilers, and extensive piping systems in an aseptic production facility Perform preventative maintenance, seasonal rebuilds, and real-time diagnostics using blueprints, micrometers, laser alignment tools, and more Operate, diagnose, and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and steam systems Weld (MIG/TIG/stick), gas cut, and fabricate repairs when needed Partner with operators during unscheduled downtime-this is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role What You Bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Industrial or Maintenance Mechanic in food, beverage, or heavy manufacturing Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, safety protocols, and tool usage Ability to work nights and long stretches during peak production season (July-October) Comfortable in warm environments (facility temperature matches outside) Experience with bilingual teams and willingness to jump in wherever needed Why You'll Stay:
Long-term career growth. Many leaders started on the floor Training investment: technical courses, specialized equipment training, certifications A family fee: breakroom celebrations, food trucks, and a true team culture Some of the best union benefits in the state
