This role is crucial to the success of our retail operations. Retail Customer Support Specialists engage with wholesale and retail clients to identify their needs, answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for swiftly addressing any customer concerns to guarantee the highest level of satisfaction. Staying informed about product features and upholding high quality and visual standards in the store is essential. Achieving outstanding customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales goals is a key expectation of this position.
Given the nature of this role, you will have direct contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic devices, and store merchandise. Thus, a review of criminal history is mandatory for the protection of our business, staff, and customers.
The selected candidate will be expected to work within 20 miles of Store #1103, located at: 3415 PLEASANT VALLEY BLVD #64 ALTOONA, PA 16602.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service. Assist customers both in-person and via phone by identifying their needs and presenting suitable products and services. Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail clients. Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies. Strive to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets. Maintain detailed work order files and formulas. Select products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products according to customer specifications. Restock shelves and set up merchandise displays. Clean and maintain store equipment. Load and unload delivery trucks. Assist with deliveries as required. Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing. Stay informed about products and discuss options with customers. Adhere to inventory control measures. Propose improvements to enhance sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have legal authorization to work without sponsorship in the country of employment. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have a “meets expectations” rating on latest performance review. Completion of all required HR Cloud eLearning courses if an internal candidate. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service preferred. Prior experience in selling paint and related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in multiple languages. Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus.
