As a Customer Service Expert, you will closely collaborate with our wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, address inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest the best solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any concerns quickly and efficiently. Staying informed on product features is essential, as is upholding our visual and quality standards in both product presentation and store appearance. Your efforts will contribute toward achieving outstanding customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales targets. This position requires interaction with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, and inventory. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the safety of customers, staff, and the overall reputation of the company. The selected individual will be expected to work at stores within a 30-mile radius of our location at: 722 South Meadow Street, Suite 500, Ithaca, NY 14850. Provide outstanding customer service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Assist customers in-person and over the phone by identifying their needs and presenting fitting products and services. Develop and maintain productive trust relationships with customers. Accurately process sales transactions in compliance with company policies. Achieve sales goals consistently across all reporting periods. Maintain precise records for work orders and formulations. Retrieve the correct products from stock and facilitate mixing and tinting as necessary. Restock shelves and create attractive displays. Keep store equipment clean and operational. Handle loading and unloading of delivery trucks. Assist with deliveries when needed. Ensure assigned areas are in-stock and visually appealing. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to discuss available options thoroughly. Adhere to inventory control protocols. Proactively suggest sales improvement strategies. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship. Must be proficient in English and Spanish. Must hold a valid Driver's License. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally up to 70 lbs. with or without accommodations. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. If currently employed at Sherwin-Williams, you must have at least a meets expectations rating on your last appraisal. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in retail or customer service. Previous experience selling paint and related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
