The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production and plant equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency and safety. The Maintenance Technician requires a strong understanding of electro-automation systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and electrical systems, as well as the ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future. The company does not offer visa sponsorship or transfer of visas for this position now or in the future.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair malfunctioning production and plant equipment efficiently.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and controls for production equipment and throughout the plant.

Install and troubleshoot electro-automation systems, including automated industrial machinery, motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems.

Understand and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Perform daily equipment inspections/checks to identify and address abnormal situations.

Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.

Document daily equipment-related activities, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of plant production machinery, with working knowledge of mechanical/electrical inspection and repairs

Must have 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to the component level

Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Demonstrates mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance abilities

Ability to read diagrams plus repair high-speed machinery, Programmable Logical Controls, welding, and machine shop skills are a plus

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
