Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Sales Manager works to support BryantCorp's vision of building better communities through beautiful spaces. The Sales Manager collaborates with the Area Director of Sales, General Manager, and other department heads at the hotel to ensure that all sales initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.
As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in general computer and Microsoft Office
1-2 years of hotel sales experience preferred
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
Highly organized, detailed-orientated, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
PRINCIPLE JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for:
Supports the Area Director of Sales with a focus on optimizing revenue and bookings
Communicate pertinent information regarding groups to the various departments of the hotel to ensure a cohesive and consistent process with the overall goal of customer and guest satisfaction.
Organizing and maintaining detailed group information and entering into correct systems
Responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth and improvement
A clear understanding of the hotel's business strategies then set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals.
Update action plans and Sales & Marketing plans on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
Represent Hotel in various events and exhibitions.
Conducts daily sales calls and arranges site inspection trips by corporate clients.
Able to provide quick and timely responses and develop professional long-term business relationships.
Provide the highest quality of service to the client at all times.
Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.
Providing exemplary guest service by demonstrating a personal commitment to making every guest satisfied.
