Position Overview
We are seeking an event coordinator to help support the conferences and events the firm participates in, hosts and sponsors.
Responsibilities Meeting & Event Support
Assist in coordination of logistics for conferences and events across all distribution channels - which staff attend, speak and/or Schroders sponsors - over 150+ per year Provide support in the execution of Schroders hosted events from concept to completion including but not limited to: venue search, audio visual, client gifts, entertainment sourcing, presentations, literature, invitations/RSVP, on site logistics, name badge compilation, seating plans, attendee profiles, catering orders, and pre/post event communication plans. Communicate to necessary internal and external parties all details associated with the events including: external vendors, internal teams and facilities management. Research and recommend event venues for Schroder Hosted events. This may include local travel within NYC for site visits. Create salesforce event campaigns for all events & conferences, working in tandem with sales teams to track audience attendance, relevant event details and ROI post event. Create event registration websites and informational content using Cvent. Create all pre and post event communications within Cvent. Liaise with internal compliance team to obtain necessary compliance review for event materials Collaborate with marketing channel heads on event content Assist with the ideation and production of event experience themes, in collaboration with internal team members or external vendors for Schroders Hosted events. Work with Schroders design teams on image sourcing, presentation formatting, video editing, and other content for events. Work with internal social media team on pre/post event social media outreach. Order and manage inventory of marketing premium items with our fulfilment vendor (Broadridge) and/or our London gift shop, with support from UK Events. Responsible for creating and managing budgets for internal meetings for review and approval, including forecasting costs, tracking expenditures, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
BA or BS At least 4-5 years of previous event management experience Excellent relationship management, oral and written communication skills Extreme attention to detail and ability to be organized and multi-task Ability to work in a flexible, adaptive work environment Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Cvent Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during events Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Financial Services BA or BS, preferably in Marketing, Finance or Communications Salesforce CRM experience a plus Canva knowledge CMP certification a plus
