Role Impact
As part of an aseptic beverage manufacturing company, the Maintenance will support the reliability and efficiency of Maintenance operations by assisting with preventative maintenance, technical documentation, vendor coordination, and shop organization. The Maintenance will work closely with the Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure that equipment and systems run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Assist in scheduling, tracking, and creating preventive maintenance tasks (PMs).
Help maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics as requested.
Assist in scheduling and coordinating vendor visits.
Support communication and follow-up with external service providers.
Perform clerical tasks such as inventory tracking, tool check-in/out, and parts organization.
Assist with receiving and stocking maintenance supplies.
Shadow experienced technicians during troubleshooting and repair work.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
Observe and follow cGMP(Good Manufacturing Practices).
Follow Food Safety Requirements/Standards as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Maintenance leadership.
Education
High School Diploma Required.
Pursing a degree in Applied Process Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Electrical Technician Program, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Experience & Skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics (P&IDs ).
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Ability to complete tasks independently, as well as in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be independently motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb up and down ladders and work in tight spaces.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to work around equipment containing electromagnetic components.
