The Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) division is actively seeking a Senior Operations Specialist to lead our facilities team in the operation, maintenance, and repair of essential building systems. This role is critical for supporting our large, complex facility and requires a solid technical background in mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, central plants, generators, power distribution, and building automation systems. We are looking for a candidate with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to guide and mentor others, ensuring safe, efficient operations at all times. Primary Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and repair critical infrastructure systems, including: Boilers, chillers, HVAC systems Electrical distribution equipment (transformers, MCCs, UPS, substations) Pumps, generators, and power systems Building automation systems (BAS)

Monitor system performance using control panels, gauges, and BAS interfaces. Respond promptly to alarms, breakdowns, and emergencies, implementing corrective actions swiftly. Analyze operational data to detect inefficiencies or early signs of equipment degradation. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled corrective repairs. Lead and mentor Junior Operations Technicians in daily tasks and troubleshooting efforts. Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, repairs, and operational logs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams during equipment outages and emergencies. Basic Qualifications: TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Completion of a formal automotive or diesel mechanic training program. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles including automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, forklifts, and buses. Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, cooling systems, and electrical wiring. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, chassis charts, and diagnostic tools. Skilled in using standard hand and power tools for mechanical system disassembly and reassembly. Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis abilities. Familiarity with safety protocols and a commitment to ensuring safe work practices. Preferred Qualifications: ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent credentials. 5+ years of experience with a wide range of fleet vehicles, including specialized equipment. Experience leading or mentoring junior technicians. Strong background in quality control, energy efficiency, and safety assurance. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or diagnostic software. Experience in conducting vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT or local regulatory standards. Knowledge in technical specification development and parts procurement processes. Project management experience related to equipment maintenance or fleet upgrades. Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00 This pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, and skills.
