Job Summary:
As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities for our facilities or properties. You will play a key role in performing general repairs and preventative maintenance of our properties through effective leadership and technical expertise. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facilitys equipment and systems.
Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
Conducts quarterly preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
Performs general repairs onsite to protect property and .
Rotating On call emergencies and utilizing staff in the Foremans absence.
Supports with inspecting work orders and other assignments.
Assists with supervision of daily operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair.
Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to follow instructions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with and vendors.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent .
Previous experience .
Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification, Fair Housing Training .
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods walking and standing
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend and crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds at a time.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
